What Do We Do?
We endeavour to provide volunteers who understand what rape and sexual abuse is all about, they are not shockable, they do not judge feelings or actions, they will let feelings be expressed without recrimination. We can:
- provide practical and emotional support for people over sixteen who have been raped or assaulted.
- provide counselling for people who have been raped, sexually assaulted or sexually abused months or years ago and want to deal with their feelings.
- provide information about what happens at a medical examination, a Police station or in court.
- provide information about testing for sexually transmitted diseases, HIV or pregnancy following a rape.
We will only contact you if you ask us to, either by phone or letter - we are always discreet.
